I think you misunderstood my comment.
I meant, yeah, that's how most artists on the internet feel. We usually keep putting out art hoping for people to take notice and enjoy what we create, but it often takes a long time for that to actually happen, and it can get really discouraging. I wasn't calling you yourself an average or bad artist if that's what it seemed like. I wouldn't ever say that to someone who's taken the time to try and create something, cause I know how that feels myself.

Consider not focusing on drawing from other people's art and illustration as much, and focus on learning the theory and applying in order to internalize it. Speed drawing and studies will help you improve faster and meaningfully. You might even make up for 'lost' time
